Staerekassen (meaning literally starling nest box) so named because of its box like shape suspended above the street. It was built in 1931 as an additional stage for The Royal Danish Theatre. The bronze façade reliefs are by Einar Utzon-Frank. Building was designed by Holger Jacobsen
