Fetching over two dollars per pound, this 4-H calf contributed more than $2,000 to the 4-H Foundation of Alberta The sale of four calves, donated to the 4-H Foundation of Alberta by various indi- viduals and organizations has netted more than $7,500 to this volunteer organization. The sales were held at the 4-H Achievement Day shows and sales in the Calgary and Wainwright areas. The largest contribution came from the raffle of two sides of the carcass of a calf, donated by the Alberta Pinzgauer Association. The calf was raised by Robin Smith of Olds, a member of the Eagle Beef 4-H Club. Organized by the Mountainview District 4-H Council, the raffle took place at the Olds 4-H Beef Show and Sale.
