Mini Eiffel tower outside the Center Français de Berlin. A German-French cultural centre in Wedding-Berlin. The Center Francais de Berlin was founded in 1961 as the Center Culturel Français by the French Allied Administration to promote French culture and language in the former French sector (Wedding and Reinickendorf). It was used as a cultural centre of French forces until 1992. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 resulted in the withdrawal of the occupying forces and the centre was closed.
