SILVER SPRING, Md. (March 16, 2022) – Jason Pilligua and Christian McCauley, both research assistants with Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) examine bacteria using an inverted fluorescence microscope in the Combat Wounds Infections Division laboratory. Part of NMRC’s Operationally Relevant Infections Department, the Combat Wound Infections Division develops and evaluates novel treatments for combat injury related skin and soft tissue infections associated with multi-drug resistant organisms.
