Our subject is a mem-ber of the Presbyterian Church and is one of thevalued Elders and most liberal supporters of thatreligious organization. In political affiliations, Mr. Beeler is a Democrat,is public-spirited, and in common with all goodcitizens desires the appointment of the man bestadapted to fill the official position with honor andintegrity. Mr. Beeler has never aspired to polit-ical office, but when he was made a Director in theSchool Board he gave his earnest and intelligentefforts in behalf of educational advancement andwas ever faithful in the discharge of the dutiesintrusted to his care. Asa useful, law-abiding andworthy citizen, our subject is interested in all mat-ters pertaining to the public good, and is ready toaid in the establishment of any enterprise of
