His last day
I got home today and Jake was not looking well. I phoned the vets, took him in and stopped a little distance away to take him for a little walk. He sat down, then lay down in the church yard, I picked him gave him a and he went before we reached the vets. We have been through so much together over the years, the births of children, the loss of Callum, my Mum and my Grandma. He has been there for so long as part of my and later our lives. He was old, and his heart gave out. I took this photo of him just before we left the house this afternoon. I knew deep down that he was very unlikely to be coming home again.
