190923-N-NH199-1001 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept 23, 2019) -- Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Joshua Duggan, chalk and chains an MH-60S helicopter, attached to the "Blackjacks" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21, to the flight deck of Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) during flight operations. Mercy is currently operating off the coast of San Diego for Mercy Exercise 19-4 (MERCEX). Mercy is one of two hospital ships owned and operated by Military Sealift Command.
