Walnut Lane Bridge over Wissahickon Creek, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, 1914. Vintage postcard showing a view down the Wissahickon Creek and under the Walnut Lane Bridge. There are wooded areas on both sides of the creek. Designed by George S Webster of the Philadelphia Department of Public Works, the bridge was built between 1906 and 1908. At the time of its completion it was the longest and highest concrete arch bridge in the world.
