The Twentieth Century. Where other Cauliflower fails, gardeners should try this strain. The heads are all large, and every plant will make a head when the conditions are right. In Long Island, N. Y., this strain has given the best satisfaction. The heads are large, compact and white, weighing more than any other sort. The outside leaves are smaller than any other variety; for this reason it can be planted closer, thereby getting a greater number of heads to the acre. It is of dwarf habit with short outside leaves similar in most respects to Early Snowball, and nearly as early. The heads when ready for market are medium to large size.
