Lamasery morning mist The Bonism lamasery has one thousand years history. The property is belong to a family, now the Buddha is the 34th or 35th generation of the founder of the lamasery. We drive an Iveco Van through the dirt road to the top of the unnamed mountain in the morning at 7am. Even in the summer, High altitudes is still very cold in the morning. We came to this hill for 2 times already but we hadn't got very impressive photo. At last lucky favoured us, the morning fog up around 8 o’clock like a moving wall. Amazing or Beautiful, I can’t find word to describe it. Patience is our success. Camera: Canon 5d mark iii Lens: EF 70-200mm IS IIUSM Tripod: Gizto GT-2531 with Manfrotto 410 head 1/60s () ISO100 70mm By using a Lee soft GND make the sky little bit under exposure and the sunshine from the left side and make the shade of the hill ridge in very good contrast. It wasn’t last very long, maybe 10 minutes we were all in the mist. Retouch the photo by Lightroom and Photoshop CC. Crop the photo to 16:9, cut the cloud let the lamasery as the main focus of the image. I don’t want to get distract by the cloud wall. Using Nik colour Efex and Viveza to adjust the exposure and colour balance in Photoshop. Please leave some Critique comments and I’d like to discuss everything about my photography with your guys.
