The depth ofgravel under the ties should not be less than10 inahes. The only place on the road where the companywill be required to deal with paving is a one-half Mile section of track at olinton. The totalcost of single track laid in paved streets wherethe trailway company pays for paving 18 inches ofthe street outside tho rails, excliiding overheadconstruction, and using 9 inch girder rails, isabout ^5 per foot.
