View SE of Stalldon cairn-circle & cist to the SE of Stall Moor, Dartmoor, Devon, England, UK. The grassed over egg-shaped cairn x has been dug into and its central burial cist of granite slabs revealed. Although robbed & lidless, a C-14 date of 1800BC was obtained from material inside the cist. At least four small standing stones remain around the cairn. The cairn is at SX 633632, N of Stalldown Barrow & S of where the Bledge Brook meets the River Erme. Aubrey Burl called the site Stall Moor South.
