Mr. A. P. Humphry, who is twenty years of age, is an undergraduate of Trinity was at Rugby before entering the University, and took his place as one of the Rugby team, on three occasions, in the Public Schools' rifle-shooting for the Ashburton challenge shield. In 1868 he made the highest score any one person made in that Public Schools' contest. This year, besides winning the Queen's prize for himself, he has led the Cambridgeshire men to victory in the shooting for the China challenge cup. On Saturday evening, when he returned home, he was received at the Cambridge railway station by the members of the University and town volunteer corps, assembled, with their bands of music'.
