Very pretty 18th century blue and white export dish featuring a pair of chickens surrounded by oversized peonies and with a simple honeycomb diaper border around the rim. Later over-decorated or ‘clobbered’ in England with bright overglaze enamels featuring a dragon in the central field and additional floral sprays on a lime green ground. Diameter: 23 cm
