Cattle shelter. Aerial view of a cattle shelter in the foothills of the Bale Mountains, Bale Mountains National Park, Ethiopia. This area is within the Oromo tribal district, populated by the Oromo people, the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia. Most of the Oromo are farmers and nomadic herders of livestock. Bale Mountains National Park has a high proportion of animals endemic to the region (found only here and nowhere else). In 2009, it was added to UNESCO's Tentative List of proposed World Heritage Sites. Photographed in 2011.
