Military Academy Cadet Matthew Rivera provides an overview of the education programs offered at West Point to South African students in order to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education as part of the Africa Command outreach efforts with the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Muizenberg, South Africa, June 25, 2018. Rivera was joined by fellow Cadet Patrick Cowan and Mathematics Professor Dr. Samuel Ivy to help facilitate learning and foster confidence in STEM for the African students.
