Kenneth Sowell, operations officer, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11, reads the Medal of Honor citation for Construction Mechanic 3rd Class Marvin Shields after a re-enactment of the 1965 Battle of Dong Xoai. The reenactment was held to honor Shields, the first and only Seabee to receive the Medal of Honor, who was fatally wounded during battle where he saved numerous American lives.
