Farnham Surrey Tuesday 20th July 2016 GV of Weybourne Lane in Bagshot Lea showing Police investigation following a collision. The collision involved a single vehicle and with walker. The Vauxhall van struck the padestrian The incident happened just after pm this evening. The walker who has gone out to try and coool down from the heat wave that has hit the south was hit by the vehicle. Police at the scene said the driver did stopped at the scene. The walker was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries head and leg injures, Shocked home owners on the road have said that the road is a rat run. It’s an accident waiting to happen. There are skid marks up and down the road I have lost count the. number of time vehicle have nearly hit each other or people trying to cross the road they use it as a rat run to the miss out the traffic to get up not to the A31. Police closed the road for an number of hours whilst. Crash scene investigators carried out skid tests on the vehicle and measures on the road and the vehicle. Police have spoke to the driver of the vehicle but would not confirm if he had been arrested for any offences. The road reopened. Just after on Wednesday morning.©UKNIP
