An artillery fascine knife for members of the foot artillery, mid-19th century Massive wedge blade with short false edge (cleaned patches of rust), the base with unidentifiable stamp. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with unit mark " P. 59" on the obverse languet, black leather-covered wooden grip (slightly damaged). In the original black leather-covered scabbard (rubbed) with matching number and brass fittings, the locket marked "P. 59". Traces of age and wear. Length cm.
