Cartagena, Colombia - March 26, 2017: This bell tower is the centerpiece of the Cloister of St. Augustine, the main campus of the University of Cartagena. The public university was founded in 1827 by Francisco de Paula Santander. During the early 19th century, he was the General of the National Army of Colombia and later the President of the Republic of New Granada. The school has about 25,000 students who attend undergraduate and postgraduate courses on four campuses.
