Plant tall and vigorous, producing a large head of fine color and texture, followed by a good crop of shoots which develop rather slowly. Because of the vigorous plant growth, an adequate supply of boron in the soil is needed to prevent hollow stem. Particularly adapted for fall harvest in the south Atlantic states. * K & V A second early variety for late spring, summer and early fall harvest.
