Dreer's Select I^ilium Candidum (Annunciation or Madonna Lily) This is one of the most popular of garden Lilies. The flowers are pure snow white and very fragrant, borne on long stems. To succeed with it, it should be planted early in the autumn; give the bulbs a light dusting with powdered sulphur, and do not cover with more than 2 inches of ioil; 3 to 4 feet; May and June. The flowers are trumpet-shaped, pure white, and delightfully fragrant. The freedom with which the flowers are produced is truly remarkable. Fine bulbs, 5 to 7 inches, 25 cts. each; $ per doz. Extra bulbs, 7 to 9 inches, 50 cts. each; $ per doz. These are profuse bloomers, and very attractive in the house or conservatory during the winter.
