Camarasaurus trampling baby ceratosaurs, artwork. Camarasaurus was a large (23 metre long) sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic (160-145 million years ago). It is depicted here charging towards a group of young Ceratosauruses, trampling them in the process. This behaviour is known to occur with African elephants when confronted with a pride of lions.
