Crossed by Qollasuyo in the main square, Chucuito is a country in the western Titicaca, between Puno and the Bolivian border. The local feast of the Assumption (August 15) is a mixture of Christianity and pre-Columbian rituals, but it is basically a feast and after a procession, a collective lunch and a lot of beer, the couples, with their sharp outfits dancing in the village square.
