The one point which seems to me especially to call for criticism is the leaving a spacebetween the sheathing on the roof. Most of my houses are built that way, but I would notbuild another without laying the roof sheathing close. The Increase of cost is comparativelytrifling, and the gain iu looks, and a smooth surface to whitewash is considerable.
