The company was started by Richard 'Dick' Bracey in 1953. Originally their signs were used to advertise sex shops and strip shows in London's Soho district. Since then their neon signs have appeared in Batman, James Bond and Eyes Wide Shut. They have also had their signs appear in music videos and now fashion shows. Their display can be seen at The Other Art Fair at Truman's Brewery in the East End of
