The Warsaw Ghetto Heroes Monument commemorates Jewish fighters who were killed during the Ghetto Uprising (18 April – 16 May 1943). The monument is coated with slabs made of stone which was imported by Nazis to occupied Poland from Sweden as a material for planned by Germans monuments commemorating Hitler's victories.
