The Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso, is seen in La Granja de San Ildefonso in Spain on August 21, 2016. The palace and gardens were built next to the town in 1721-24. It was commissioned by King Philip V. The gardens were inspired by the Gardens of Versailles, surrounding the Palace of Versailles in France. Copyright photograph John Voos
