Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) feeding near Namutoni waterhole, Etosha Pan, Namibia. Giraffes feed on the twigs of trees, mainly eating plants of the Mimosa genus. They utilise their long necks to exploit the vegetation higher up in trees, that other animals cannot reach. Giraffes are found throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
