Miss Woodhead, Halifax, was Ist outof three competitors, having green edge. Prince of(ireens; grey, George Lightbody; white edge, ; .self, Black Bess; blue self, Mrs. 1 otts ;and red self, Lord of Lome—a very good half dozen,though Lord of Lome was a little rough. 2nd, Lord, Holebottom, Vui. 101.— urn. two flowers, and Cypripedium pubeseens with seventine flowers; he was 2ud with C. calceolus with fiveflowers, and Dodecatheon elegans ; and 3rd with avery fine pan of Narcissus bulbocodium and Trilliumgrandiflorum. Mr. S. Barlow was the only exhibitorof two species of Primulas, having P. denticulataand P. viscosa rosea. He was also 1st, with sixfancy Auriculas, and also for six Primroses—no otherexhibitor competing. Scotland. _? SCOTTISH PKIMULA AND AIRICULASOCIETY. The third show of this Society was held on the8th inst. in the Calton Convening Rooms, WaterlooPlace, Edinburgh.
