Midshipman Kelly Martineau waits on the flight line at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 11, 2021. Midshipmen from the Naval Academy were attached to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing for a week to introduce them to the fleet Marine force. This is one way that the Marine Corps and Navy are introducing integration. Martineau is a native of Charles Town, West Virginia.
