A Norwegian public telephone box, one of 100 protected for their cultural importance


A sign inside the phone box is entitled “Small rooms for great occasions”. A hundred of these boxes were protected in 2007 for their cultural importance. There were originally about 6,000 phone boxes but demand was reduced with the arrival of new technology and communication possibilities.
