Ruins of Weeting Castle, Norfolk, UK.


A 12th century fortified manor with a three storey high tower which is now ruined. The moat was added in the 14th century. Built by Hugh de Plais in the 1130's on the site of a 10th century settlement and abandoned in 1390. Now managed by English Heritage.
