Rabbit Drop Box Trap Set Along Fence Line. (Also Known As Pitfall Traps).
Basically, A single entrance Trap, with a continual catch. A Tunnel Is inserted along an established fence line, Rabbits are caught when they enter the Tunnel and fall through a hinged flap into a box which has been buried in the ground, the lid of the box returns to place by means of a counter balance weight fixed to it, enabling several Rabbits to be caught in one setting (Daily, as these traps should be checked upon at least once a day). Any captured Rabbits are then despatched of humanely. These Pitfall type Traps are thought to be one of the first used by early hunters and have been used for trapping a vast array of animals.
