He was always a stanch Republicanand active in Ohio politics, and counted as his personal friends President Wm. McKin-ley. Governor J. B. Morris came west to California in 1910. and settled at Los Angeles,where he soon established himself so successfully that he now owns two ranches inthe San Fernando Valley, and one in the San Joaquin Valley.
