Gill-rakers very short, 9 on lower part of anterior arch. Dorsal XV 11; spines increasing in length to the last, which measures ^ length of head ; longest soft ray |- length of head. Anal III 8; third spine stronger but a little shorter than last dorsal. Pectoral a little shorter than head,.
