Genoa, Italy - June 2013; Built in 1289, and the home of Genoa's Doges since 1330, the Ducal Palace is now the cultural centre of the city. Unfortunately, it was closed when we got there. As a great believer in the participle of making lemonade when presented with lemons, I proceeded to take a series of shots of this rather lovely doorknob and closed doors, instead.
