Rear Adm. Tim Weber, Naval Medical Forces Pacific commander and director of the Navy's Medical Service Corps, is greeted by Capt. James Quick, who leads the Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI), during a visit to San Antonio, May 19. DMRTI is a Tri-Service organization that offers joint medical readiness training courses and professional medical programs. Weber, who has oversight of Navy Medicine's eight medical research labs, was in the Lone Star State to attend the Naval Medical Research Unit San Antonio change of command and meet with MSC officers.
