United States. Utah. Arches National Park. Delicate Arch. The Park is located about 5 miles north of Moab (Grand County), and contains the world's largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. It also contains various geological formations. Delicate Arch is a 65 ft (20 m) tall natural arch. It is the most widely-recognized landmark in Arches National Park: It is depicted on Utah license plates, and on a postage stamp commemorating Utah's centennial anniversary of statehood (1996). In 2002 (Winter Olympics, Salt Lake City), the Olympic torch passed through this arch.
