Around sunset next to the tomb of Ahmed Al Nil (Hamad el-Nil mosque), a ceremony of the whirling Dervishes. These Dervishes, followers of the Qadiriyya dress in brightly coloured tunics, dance and swirl themselves in prayer in such an ecstatic state, then turn to the east and pray.
