Here I present important ornithological records made during field trips to Rondonia, including the first documented Subtropical Doradito Pseudocolopteryx flaviventris for Brazil and the first documented Pearly-breasted Conebill Conirostrum margaritae for Bolivia. Species accounts include life-history data for several little-known species (with additional non-Rondonian data included where deemed important), comments on austral migrants, taxonomy and distributional information, including range extensions and new state records.
