Galena, AK, June 12, 2014 Samaritans Purse volunteer Keith Smith uses a power saw to assemble the building components of this Cold Climate Home for the disaster survivors who are eligible for FEMA assistance under the Robert T. Stafford Act. Each one of the homes will take approximately 8 weeks to complete and are being built concurrently by volunteers from Samaritans Purse and United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, while FEMA pays for materials and shipping.
