Box tree moth immigrant to uk around 2007 discovered in Kent, most likely came as larvae on box wood plants. considered a pest on box wood plants like hedges and topiary as can defoliate plants and also weave webbing like strands over plants. This moth appears black and white but is purplish brown and white. The moth was resting on my white painted brick wall to the garden.
