He wasvice-president and general manager of theUnited States Motor Vehicle Co., New York,1899-1900, and vice-president and generalmanager of the De Dion-Bouton MotoretteCo., Brooklyn, N. Y., 1900-02. From the. C. J. Field latter date to the present time he has beenengineer for and manufacturer of vitrifiedglazed clay conduits, and owner and patenteeof conduit and subway systems. He is pres-ident and chief engineer of the Field-FoulksCo., engineers and contractors in the above-mentioned lines of business. In 1904 he tookup, in addition, consulting engineering has delivered several talks before theundergraduates of the Electrical Depart-ment, Stevens Institute, on central-stationpractice and electric railways; and beforethe undergraduates of Sibley College, Cor-nell University, on the same subject.
