ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 17, 2022) – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103), center, and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), right, move into position alongside the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS William McLean (T AKE-12), March 17. USS Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is currently participating in Task Force Exercise in the 2nd Fleet area of operations. TFEX serves as the certification exercise for independent deploying ships and is designed to test mission readiness and performance in integrated operations
