Members of a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), firing party render military honors during a memorial ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, April 7, 2021. The ceremony was held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of seven service members, and nine Vietnamese personnel who were lost in an MI-17 helicopter crash in Vietnam while conducting investigation work for a future recovery site. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and our nation.
