MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Dec. 01, 2018) Lance Cpl. Chase Watters, an infantry rifleman with Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 3/1, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is promoted to the rank of corporal aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), Dec. 1, 2018. The Anchorage and embarked 13th MEU are deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operations as a crisis response force in support of regional partners as well as to promote national security interests in Europe and Africa.
