The Big Hairy Armadillo, Chaetophractus villosus, is the largest and most numerous of the armadillo species in South America. Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. A UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Patagonia region of South America. It is primarily nocturnal but does forage for worms and insects during the day when necessary.
