PURPLE LEAVED, (Pupurea).—One of the most beautiful and distinctly marked of all ; leaves pur- plish red, particularly on the under side. A rapid, strong grower, hardy, and should be in every col- lection. SILVER LEAVED, (Dasycarpum).—Of exceedingly rapid growth and desirable for immediate effect.
