Dog skull and brain. Coloured 3D computed tomography (CT) scan of the skull and brain (pink) of a domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris). The scan also shows the nasal cavity, the hard and soft palates, skeletal anatomy, and part of the trachea. This DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) dataset was rendered in a lateral view by Daz Studio Pro. The CT datasets are courtesy of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biosciences, Texas A&M University.
